President Abdel Fatah El-Sisi welcomed his south Sudanese counterpart, Salva Kiir, who arrived to Cairo in a two-day official visit on Tuesday, stressing on the historic relationships between both countries.
CAIRO: Minister of Civil Aviation Abdul Aziz Fadel met on Sunday with South Sudan Ambassador to Egypt Anthony Louis Kon as part of the Egyptian government’s efforts to enhance relations with the African countries, especially the Nile basin countries.
Egyptian President Abdel Fataha al-Sisi has assured President Salva Kiir that Egypt would continue supporting various development projects in South Sudan.The northern African country is engaged in water project and several other fields in the country.The two leaders met in Cairo this week during an official visit of President Salva Kiir.
Western Bahr el Ghazal State Governor Rizik Zakaria Hassan has led a delegation to Egypt to discuss investment opportunities with the Egyptian businessmen and investors.The delegation will discuss investment opportunities and review goods that Egypt can export to Western Bahr el Ghazal.
Egyptian government has welcomed the framework agreement the SPLM factions signed in Arusha, Tanzania early this week.
The document signed by the government, the SPLM in Opposition and the former political detainees, aims at re-uniting the different SPLM factions.

The Egyptian government has donated to the Juba Military Hospital equipment for testing, treating kidney and alimentary diseases.These items include endoscopy and sterilization units.The Director of the hospital, Brig Gen Kuol Deng Kuol, says this is the first time the military hospital is receiving such equipment for testing diseases.
