South Sudan Football Association secretary General Mr Victor Lawrence Lual had a meeting with the Deputy ambassador of the South Sudan Embassy in Egypt Hon kuol Nyok Kuol Arop in presence of the cultural attaches Mr. Michael Mathiang and Coach Emmanuel Mayom.
The meeting discussed the preparations ahead of the South Sudan U-20 national football team participation in the upcoming 2023 AFCON U-20 in Egypt.

Egypt’s Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Hani Sweilam has met with Moataz Abdel Qader, the Egyptian ambassador to South Sudan, to review the position of joint development projects between Egypt and South Sudan in the field of water resources.Sweilam stated that the projects implemented by Egypt in South Sudan aim primarily to serve the citizens of South Sudan, and are considered a successful model for cooperation between Egypt and its African brothers, pointing out that the depth of the Egyptian-South Sudanese relations pushes us to work more on strengthening the bonds of cooperation, integration and investment in various fields. 

On September 04, H. E. Ambassador Joseph Moum Majak Ambassador of South Sudan to Egypt and other three African Ambassadors, Sudan, Kenya, Malawi, Madagascar and Camorous attended the ceremony of the shipment of the first batch of Medical aids to the African countries.
Ambassador Soha Gendi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, Director of the Department of African Organizations and Communities told Ambassadors at Cairo International Airport that this is a part of arrangements for The first batch of aids deliveries to the African countries.
Ambassador Soha Gendi Said, the first batch of aids has already been directed to 10 African countries. The procedures for shipping the second batch to 20 other countries are being completed during the upcoming period.

Egypt’s Minister of Culture Ines Abdel-Dayem met with South Sudan's Minister of Culture, Museums and National Heritage Nadia Arop on 22 February to discuss enhancing cultural and artistic exchange between the two countries. The meeting was attended by the assistant administrative attaché at the Embassy of South Sudan in Cairo, head of the General Organisation for Cultural Palaces Ahmed Awwad, head of the Cultural Development Fund Fathy Abdel-Wahab, head of the Foreign Cultural Relations Sector Souad Shawky, and head of the National Centre of Cinema Mohamed El-Basousi.

The meeting comes as part of preparations for the 1st Session of the Joint Higher Committee between the two countries. The committee meeting, held in Cairo, was headed by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and the Vice President of Economic Affairs in South Sudan.Egypt’s Ministry of International Cooperation has organised a coordination meeting of the country’s ministries and entities that cooperate with South Sudan.
